If You Want To Laugh..
This movie has nothing but comedy written all over it. Fast moving plot with the right recipe of characters. Hilarious to the bone and excellent set up. If you are looking for a great laugh and enjoy the humor only David Spade and Marlon Wayans can bring, pick this one up. An excellent addition to any DVD collection. Fun for all to watch!

The best ever
This movie is the best most funniest movie ever. i have seen this movie I dont know atleast 50 times. I never get sick of it. Its sooo funny, it will make you laugh your you know what off.
get it. you wont be upset with yourself at all. You will love it!

Throwback
This movie came out in the late 90s when Marlon was in his prime. This is one of his better films, you know what to expect from the Wayans, laugh out loud comedy. You seen the show The Wayans Bros.(WHICH SHOULD OF NEVER GOT CANCELED!!! I WAS SO HEATED) but i digress lol, this movie is great, original material, the movie has a good concept, Marlon is spectacular. Buy this along with The Sixth Man, that movie is good money too.

Bounty Hunters [Blu-ray]

Get the bad guys!
A older video,entertaining and fun. Not full of special effects.The play between Dudikoff and the female bounty hunter and constant action keeps your attention.

Not real impressed with this movie
I brought this movie mainly because I liked Michael Dudikoff as an actor in the American Ninja. This movie was watchable but not great.

My life as a dog......
Although many recollect CHOCOLAT as Lass Hallstrom's "classic" film, longtime fans are more likely to connect THE SHIPPING NEWS with his earlier film MY LIFE AS A DOG. Hallstrom has a gift for eliciting excellent performances from children and oddballs living in northern climates. Like Ingmar in the older "foreign" film from Sweden, Quoyle has much to learn about being an adult.

THE SHIPPING NEWS is a beautiful psychological study about the transformation of a damaged man into a whole human being. NEWS reinforces the truth most of us already know -- unconditional love can heal. The most telling line of the story is spoken by Juliette Moore when she says that when she was at her lowest point, the people in her Newfoundland village lifted her up with their love.

I read THE SHIPPING NEWS (which one the Pulitzer) and I laughed until I cried. It is probably the most humorous book I have ever read. I took my husband who had not read the book with me to see the film...

Rarely does a movie adhere to a book's story as well as Shipping News does to Annie Proulx' sparkling literary masterpiece, a novel about time, place, traditions and love.

The big lump of a main character, Quoyle, a sad, pathetic man (Kevin Spacey) is defined by a metaphor deftly recreated in this film: He cannot swim. As the movie opens, we find that he cannot do much of anything else either.

The inksetter for a Poughkeepsie newspaper drives into a gas station in the pouring rain and witnesses a lovers' quarrel between the driver and passenger in the first car. He doesn't get gas. A split-second courtship instigated by Petal (Cate Blanchett) saddles Quoyle with a disastrous marriage--and his child, Bunny--and ends more disastrously than it began. But Quoyle, lump that he is, unwinds after Petal leaves the picture and his parents die.

Quoyle's Aunt Agnes arrives, ostensibly to pay her respects, but with a caper in mind. Our befuddled man Quoyle leaves with her for his family's...

Quoyle is a man who bravely takes charge of his life
Quoyle (Kevin Spacey) is a middle age man lacking in self esteem who is living a banal and unrewarding existence. One is reminded of Thomas Hobbes' famous aphorism that men often are doomed to endure lives of quiet desperation. He falls in love with Petal Bear (Cate Blanchett) only hours after they meet who does nothing to hide her manipulative dark side. They have a daughter Bunny and this selfish woman proves totally lacking in compassion and loyalty to the both of them. The movie industry has rarely put on the screen a more despicable mother in its entire history. It is regretful that Blanchett will not likely receive an Academy Award nomination for her too short time in this film.

The very promiscuous Petal Bear is ultimately found dead in a car accident with a new boy friend. Quoyle's Aunt Agnis (Judi Dench) entices him and Bunny to move back to their ancestral home located in Newfoundland. This is a part of Canada that the tourists make sure they don't visit...

American Son [Blu-ray]

A true heartfelt depiction of a soldier who has 96 hours with family/friends before leaving to Iraq
In 2008, the film "AMERICAN SON", directed by Neil Abramson ("Defining Maggie", "Without Air") and screenwriter Eric Schmid submitted their film to the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for the "Grand Jury Prize". The film eventually was picked up by MIRAMAX films and now makes its DVD debut.

The film stars Nick Cannon (husband of Mariah Carey and appeared on the show "All That", "Men in Black II" and "Drumline") as Mike Holland, a 19-year-old who wanted to do something with his life but with no money to pay for college, elected to join the US Marines. After completing boot camp, the young soldier is told that his squadron will be sent to Iraq and have a 4-day vacation (96 hours) before leaving.

So, Mike decides to use his 96 hours and go back home to Bakersfield, California. While on the bus, Mike meets Cristina (Melonie Diaz, "Nip/Tuck", "Be Kind Rewind", "Feel the Noise"), a college student who is also returning to Bakersfield to meet with her...

Four Days Before Iraq
I first saw this film at the Brooklyn Academy of Music with an enthusiastic crowd, and I highly recommend it.

Nick Cannon gives an honest, top-notch performance as a young soldier during his final four days before shipping out to the Middle East. The acting is excellent, the dialogue is real, the relationships are believable and the direction is tight.

Awesome and Heartfelt
Well, As a true Nick Cannon fan... for no reason other than he is a great actor and has a slew of Indie films under his belt, I feel in this film, he definitely delivered as a true soldier. His Chemistry with Melonie Diaz is cute, pure, and fun... It really does remind me of where I grew up, with not too much to do but party, drink, sell drugs or even do them. He's just another Brother who made it out of a "swallow-you whole" environment... the movie is beautifully executed throughout. I'm glad that towards the end of the film, it finally hits (Cannon) on what's about to go down. Please believe it folks, it's real!...

P.S... I cried watching this movie too. :)

Very Touching and Heart-Warming
Wes Craven, director of the Scream trilogy, shifts gear and releases "Music of My Heart" based on a true life story of a violin teacher in New York City. The incessant ovation of this movie has proved that shift of genre can be successful.

Roberta, mother of two boys, moved to New York City after her husband had left her for another woman who happened to a good friend of hers. Through connection of a friend, Roberta secured an interview with the principal of an elementary school in Harlem. Roberta was later offered a position as a substitute music teacher.

Due to meager supplies and budget, Roberta offered her own violins for students to practice. With much difficulty and challenge, Roberta founded a violin program for elementary school kids within the neighborhood. Roberta was met with immediate challenge like student discipline, low self-esteem, and opposition from parents. On one occasion, one of the kids' mother refused her son to take violin lesson...

Warm and Inspirational
This heartwarming film taken from actual events is brought to life by the marvelous Meryl Streep. It is sentimental to be sure, but also an inspiration and a reminder not to give up on kids. Once exposed to the arts and finding a sense of accomplishment in their success, children will carry this over into other areas of life as well. It is a message that is at once good, and true. It is brought nicely to the forefront in this very underrated Wes Craven film that boasts a terrific cast and an uplifting story of hope.

Meryl Streep is Roberta Guaspari, given a chance to teach violin to some kids in East Harlem, New York, by principal Janet Williams (Angela Bassett). Roberta is a single mother with two boys of her own. She initially has to provide the instruments for the children herself. Though some of the parents can't see how playing the violin will be of any use to their children, she pushes forward with a little encouragement from teachers like Isabel Vasquez (Gloria...

Music Of The Heart
I just happened to be surfing the channels when I came upon this film. I stopped and watched it to see who was starring in it. When Meryl Streep appeared on the screen, I knew I had to stop and take notice. Well, I was blown away by the performances and the story. This is a perfect film to watch with your child, who is reluctantly taking musical instrument lessons. The dedication of this woman to teach music to children as well as teach them how to apply themselves to whatever their dreams might be, was overwhelming! I highly recommend this as a film to reach and teach the unreachable.

I purchased this movie based on the reviews posted and after watching it I realized the reviews here are FAKE. This movie is absolutely horrible. The audio was horrible the make only used one microphone which was probably broken, so when music plays you can hear the difference between dialogue and music quality. I feel like I can't even give away this movie because it was so boring.

NOT ALL MEN ARE BAD. JUST THE ONES YOU LOVE
The film starts out simply and develops levels of complexity to propel it beyond your typical feral child slasher film. Mike Gillis (Tom Sizemore) kills a prostitute (Hanna Hall) and goes "Raising Arizona" with her twin daughters. His wife (Carol Abney) loves the children, but they have to be kept locked in the basement(is their home a trailer?) There is also an element of cannibalism that is alluded to as part of their diet. A fire destroys the home, and the area has a reputation of being haunted.

Years later Stacy (Jillian Murray) comes to this area as a retreat from her abusive boyfriend Brad (Jonas Fisch). Unfortunately she mentioned where she was to her drama queen shallow girlfriend Kelly (Deja Kreutzberg). Soon she has company which include Kelly's boyfriend Chris (Timothy Ryan Cole) who supplies us with the voice of reason.
