Hilarious!!!! Looking forward to her next show.
My boyfriend and I watched "Not skinny, Not blonde" on Showtime last night. Monique had us in stitched the entire time. She is hilarious!!! Everything she says about men and women, is spot on. I am going to purchase this as soon as it comes out. This is a must have!!!! She makes you think and she makes you laugh.
Hilarious, somewhat explicit
I just watched this on Showtime. It's hilarious. Yes, it's a little explicit, but if you're an adult, she hits everything about sex, men, and women right on the nose. Imagine Gabriel Iglesias wearing a dress and talking about sex; that's Monique Marvez. Getting it as soon as it comes out.
Update 4/20/13:
I have to modify my review. Marvez is nothing like Gabriel. He does not take his fame too seriously. When Marvez pulled her video from Amazon I automatically did a Google search of her to find out what was going on. She pulled her Wikipedia page, claiming "blatant copyright infringement", pulled all YouTube videos of her routine also claiming copyright infringement, and is systematically pulling all unflattering photos of herself from the internet. :0 Reminds me of when Paula Abdul made Wikipedia drop fifteen years off her age. I'm not sure if this is vanity, greed, or paranoia, but it certainly has lowered my opinion of the comedian. From what I have found...
But VERY FUNNY!
Monique is a personal friend of mine. She's one of the funniest ladies I know. And on this dvd she holds nothing back!!!
